ErgoLaptop.com is a division of Micwil Group of Companies, a company operating in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan since 1994. Micwil Computer Consulting initially provided dedicated computer sales, service, upgrades, training and troubleshooting. We have always been committed to a high level of customer service, and believe in personalized customer service for every client. As Micwil became more and more specialized, we began launching portals to propertly service these 'niche' markets, including ErgoCanada.com and ExtremeGamingDevices.com. Laptop related products were an area that clearly needed increased focus and prominence which led to the decision to form a new division exclusively dedicated to servicing customers with laptops. ErgoLaptop.com was launched on September 1st, 2009, providing a new identity for the company and a focus on products for every kind of laptop user from the 'road warrior' to the 'couch surfer'. Our goal was (and continues to be) to work collaboratively with manufacturers and consumers to provide not just a source for accessories for laptops in Canada but also provide a reliable reference source for information on these products. We are developing one of the most comprehensive listings of laptop accessories on the web, and provide detailed technical specifications on all our products, allowing visitors to research potential product choices to determine which is right for them. In consultation with our customers and other industry partners, we continue to expand our range of products and manufacturers. Our PhilosophyOur goal is to continually increase our range of products to ensure that we offer any specialty laptop product available anywhere in the world at a reasonable price. We want to be where Canadians shop for specialty laptop products. We also seek to act as a Canadian representative for specialty laptop accessory manufacturers, providing them with a fulfillment solution (i.e. distribution to end users and resellers) in addition to acting as a technical support centre, warranty depot and customer service centre for their Canadian customers. Our StaffErgoLaptop.com is owned by Michael Craggs, BA, LLB. Mr. Craggs has degrees in Economics, Political Studies and Law, and has been involved in the computer industry since 1989. His years of experience in the computer industry and over two decades of experience in handling specialty computing products have given him excellent knowledge of the effectiveness and applications of various devices. In addition he has a solid background in information technology, troubleshooting and technical support. Jana has been working for the company since 2002. Her current roles include Assistant Product Specialist, Accounts Manager and Purchasing Manager. Brian has been our Warehouse Manager since 2003, and ensures that products are available to be shipped out whenever possible the same day the order is received. He also ensures that our stock is carefully managed so that we never run out of any of our thousands of products. Eryn has been with us since the Spring of 2006, and is our Order Desk Coordinator, ensuring that orders are processed quickly and accurately. Sam capably handles several duties including Gaming Product Specialist, Print Materials Coordinator, Graphics Guru and member of the Web Team. Anne has been our Operations Manager since the Summer 2006, and does much of the work 'behind the scenes'. Devin joined our team in the Summer of 2007 and wears several hats including Returns Coordinator, Shipper / Receiver and Technical Support Coordinator. Mark started with us in November of 2007 and is an Assistant Product Specialist, our Digital Publishing Coordinator (publishing our new monthly email newsletter and weekly RSS feed) as well Web Team Coordinator. Ruth started in April of 2008. She is an Assistant Product Specialist, and has a voracious appetite for product information which is useful given the continuously increasing range of products we handle. She loves to be challenged, so if you have tough questions or a difficult situation to address, she'll enjoy taking that journey to the solution with you. Dawn wears several hats including Customer Service Specialist, Spécialiste du Service à la Clientèle (yes, she speaks French perfectly!), Warehouse Assistant, and Data Entry Clerk. ErgoLaptop also has a number of dedicated full time and part time employees who work in various capacities in the organization including shipping clerks, web content developers, graphic design artists, product photo specialists, technical support, web site maintenance, and new product design and research.
